Alex and Avrie (My nephew and neice)

Took a little break from Frozen month to finish this up. I started working on this last summer. Got a a pretty good sketch done, then moved on to painting...and nearly ruined the entire thing. I was so frustrated and annoyed with myself I went for months and couldn't hardly stand to look at it, much less work on it some more. Then yesterday I just sat and stared at it for about a half hour and finally decided it couldn't get any worse...so I got it out and worked on it again. But this time I decided to use a more comfortable medium...my markers and colored pencils instead of paint. Within a few hours it was actually starting to look fairly decent. Then today I finished it up and thought, Wow...and here I thought it was totally ruined and it actually didn't turn out that bad in the end! I was so happy! The funniest part was, while I was finishing it up today I realized...it's their anniversary! What better day to finish an artwork of their kids than on their anniversary. lol! I still have a few touch ups I will probably try and work on tomorrow, but it is mostly done.
